OUR COACHES

  NWSP coaches are certified, top-level head coaches in clubs and national teams in Greece and the world. 

The long-lasting experience that they have gained through the continuous successes of Greek water polo on a national and international level, classifies their knowledge invaluable.  During their time as coaches, they have gained significant experience in coaching, organising, and managing academies. They have been selected by NWSP as some of the best professionals that Greek water polo has to offer.

Theo has a 34-year experience at world-class level, 19 as a player and 15 as a coach. A key player in the Greek national team, competed in three Olympic Games and several World and European Championships.

Obtained his diploma for coaching and progressed to Head Coach of one of Greece’s most renowned teams (Vouliagmeni Nautical Club).

Successfully supervising 300 athletes and 12 coaches, led the club to winning the Championship in 2012, participating in five finals and contributing seven of the thirteen players to the Greek National team. He won in three consecutive years, twice the World Championship and the European Championship with the U20 National team of Greece.

He has recently been the Head coach of the Greek Women’s National Team.

Several other knowledgeable and high calibre coaches that we work with, will cover a wide range of technical and tactical aspects on a theoretical and practical level. Having a leading role in our NWSP sessions, they will be announced depending on their availability closer to the time of the events
